Well, apart from all the rest major Store updates, the version compatibility option has been finally implemented! 

First thing, you should know: update your current items with versions compatibility via "Edit item" page. 

Second, each new item you are going to add, should contain new parameter "versions" in plugin.xml file:

<versions>1.7.0, 1.6.0</versions>

Indicate Oxwall versions your item is compatible with, separating by comma.

Note: there is a list of actual supporting Oxwall versions in Store. The list will be updated constantly with each new software release and consist of the last version + a few previous Oxwall versions. So, we strongly recommend to update items constantly with each new Oxwall update to avoid "Does not support most recent versions. Use at your own caution." warning message.
