I think it should be a little more careful when putting radical updates Oxwall, 1.7 for a user that begins, is perfect, but for someone who is updating his site from many versions back is a real disaster, I think the updates should be to improve the platform, but not for incompatibilities so vague as not all plugin developers update the speed we wanted and many of them we are totally obsolete which results in our site inoperable.

A clear example of a plugin to stop working is arrowchat which a license after paying more than $ 100, now just does not give me an answer for the last Oxwall platform, then the question is; What should I do? Oxwall those who contact me say arrowchat those of arrowchat tell me Oxwall change its platform and now have nothing developed about it, but when they do, they'll have to pay for a new license for a new version, for which I have purchased will be obsolete ....

Anyway it's just a case of plugins, but still there are many others who spend like, eg, the PAL Admin, who has not released an update for the new platform becomes obsolete and me. As I said before I think they should have more compatibility between versions of Oxwall, the end of the platforms make it the same company and guess work for the benefit of users, many complications may not be possible, especially for users who have bought many plugins and now it is impossible to use them.

In short, should launch a version where compatibility with old and new plugins for its main virtue is to be all so happy and keep saying Oxwall is the best option in the market ... Thank you ...

Manolito, which is why, before releasing any version, we provide developers of plugins and themes with the beta version in order to update their themes and plugins to be compatible with the new upcoming version.
