Is there any information on here on how to make a widget for my site?  I have looked an cannot find anything.  I just want to make a basic widget that I can put some code in that my users can put on their profile or dashboard.  For instance, I would like to do a holiday countdown widget or ESPN has some great widgets for sports fans.  I would appreciate any help!

Hi
If your widget is just HTML, you can add with 'custom text/HTML' in this page :

I want it to be a widget that I can have already made up for my people to have available to put on their dashboard and profile.  I need to know how to make a pluggin that only makes a widget that people can post on dashboard or profile.

but its useless, there is no decent documentation. :( Id love to develop all sorts of plugins but without knowing what anything clearly does then this is going to happen any time soon, i'd spend longer figuring out whats what.

Thanks Keelan.  I am new to oxwall and don't really know how things work either.  I used to use some other software that I knew what to do, but I am just lost.  I guess I am going to have to try and figure this out somehow.

Unless you have a good grasp of PHP then you will come to a complete stop. I have a clear understanding of PHP and i am still struggling because there is no documentation.

I have some news about documentation. On next week we planned a total documentation of the most important parts and questions which we were asked for here, on forum. So, I hope, within one or two weeks we will public something new :)

A widget is often made by following a set of procedures to produce a useful and aesthetically pleasing element that is simple to integrate into websites, programmes, or desktops.  Start by determining the widget's function and purpose.  Considerations for the widget's layout and appearance include its size, colour scheme, font, and any interactive aspects. Choose a framework or development platform that best meets your needs. Make instructions for setting up and using the widget in writing. Keep an eye on the widget's performance and collect user comments. visit herereviersport
