I restored the databases from the day before, and while it is working for the most part, I am getting lots of situations of the page not loading, but when I go back it has loaded. Clicked on forgot password, error message, but I was logged in. Posted to a forum, error message, but it posted.

Updated to 1.7.1 and the problems seem to have been solved. Though my attempts to invite members aren't working. No emails sent. 

Do you have cron jobs properly configured?

there might actually be a problem with mass mail because i sent one few days ago and seams like only 5% of them got sent
