Newsfeed not displaying on index page what was posted on group or member pages[Solved] | Forum

Hello all.

Before a database restauration, I could show everything in the newsfeed widget on my home page.

Since the restauration, nothing is diplayed in the newsfeed box if it has been posted on other pages (new member, likes ...). If I write something on the home page, it is displayed immediately.

In the plugin's tab settings, everything needed is checked, as in the content tab.

Does anybody have an idea ?

Thanks

Fred

Please provide screenshots of the items which should be displayed in the main newsfeed according to previous behaviour of newsfeed?

Also, what software and newsfeed version do you currently have?

Share your URL as well, please.

Thank you Ross for replying.

The site, still under construction, is www.toutsurhonfleur.fr . I use oxwall 1.7.1 and up to date plugins. All was fine before the restauration.

On snapshot1, in the sidebar you can only see what was posted from the home page (once connected as in snapshot2).

But I should see in this block what is posted in other pages like in group page. Before I had to restore the database, I could see new members joined or likes (snapshot3).

Thank you for any advice.

The main newsfeed does not display group newsfeed item, these activities are displayed on the dashboard newsfeed.
Besides that you don't have newsfeed on your index page, it's a wall widget.

Ok, I see. But how do I get newsfeed back ? I cannot see anything on the customize page. In french, il was 'fil d'actualité'.

I got an error via ftp. So I uploaded theme files, activated it, emptied template_c.

Is it ok ?

AFK during 2 hours ...

As my site is a beta release, maybe I could re-install.

Is there a way to backing up my groups and members ?
