this is dr.Envira phani mybb themer and designer.
I wanted to have a network and i opted this software.
its great but though lacking some core features and striking themes.
So here are my doubts,
1.Oxwall needs a mobile app first.
2.the themes need to be updated as well the plugins.
they are giving error in my site when tried to install.
3.the chat based on ajax is buggy,please rewrite the plugin.
4.more integrations to be offered like vanilla into wordpress,joomla,drupal and forums like smf,phpbb,mybb...
5.tinymce is also giving errors.please recheck.
I really appreciate the team for bringing such a nice software which i was following since an year.
you guys can change the things to awesome.

It is opensource. It is a fairly new platform. Development will take some time.
We can't have everything now!
Check your host platform supports the requirements needed to run Oxwall.
3rd party plugin issues need addressed to the submitter.
If you are a developer get coding new plugins and help the community.
If you are a designer, start designing some new themes.
There is a new chat plugin called arrowchat.
3rd party themes are the responsibility of the submitter.
I look forward to seeing your submissions.

Michael gave you all answers and I just wanted to add that we appreciate all contribution from Oxwall users. If you have more suggestions, feel free to post them at http://oxwall.uservoice.com/ and they will be added to one of the Oxwall's builds if other users find those suggestions useful.
And, yes, Oxwall is a new platform doing everything possible to make the best social networking software ever. It just needs some time ;)

Yeah i knew it was only one year on web.
I was talking abt the UI,which if modified accordingly like the Diaspora would be even more good.
More users can take up oxwall and use for their social network.
btb tiny mce is not working on my iphone. i wish you develop a mobile app first for oxwall as a plugin or so so.
