Thank you ross. I did like explained in the mentioned user-manual chapter and succeeded to elevate another user to moderator. But: As also the picture there in the manual shows, the admin role checkbox cannot be selected. And without this permission the user cannot enter the admin area where the massmailing feature is available.
How can I grand the admin role?

Heri, you can grant admin right to another users only if you logged with the access details of the main Admin (the creator of the website)
