Dumb question but I'm just clueless with this. How do you install the instant chat?

It's simply as ABC.
- Download
- Upload archive via Admin Panel or unpacked version by FTP
- Install from Admin Panel

Login as admin. Go to Admin Panel->Plugins->Add new. You will be able to upload plugin's archive there.

There is no add new bit on mine, do you need a paid membership to do this?

As I know, such option doesn't available on wall.fm service.
