Don't show Blog on Notification | Forum

Hi @ all!

is it possible to remove or hide the Blog from the E-mail Notification and Privacy Settings?

I use the Blog Plugin as a "News"-Modul only for some Moderators. The Public members will see the Blog Posts, but cannot post their self.

However, the Users still see the Blog Settings. can that be removed or somehow hidden?

Thanks to all for support!!!!
Sebastian

Editing this will more than likely remove it for your mods too.

...reply!

But that would be ok.
Can you tell me, where to change code for that?

Hopefully someone will have the answer for you, but digging around i cannot find the exact code/or db value you would have to remove.

As far as i am aware the settings are all saved in the database so more than likely under the privacy settings in the db if you remove the blog settings it will remove the privacy options for blogs.

Sorry i couldn't provide more precise info, also remember to take back ups of your site and database for making any of these attempts. It is always nice to have a test Oxwall install to attempt things like this on :)

Just for future things like this go:

I am sure a Team member will move this.
