Hello oxwall software team,

i got the following problem: After creating a group it is not possible to change the admin/responsible one of the group nor is it possible to leave the group as a creator. If you want to leave the group (you created yourself) you have to delete it and group content gets lost.

Are you aware of that? Are you going to change that in the next update?

greetings
Markus

Hi Markus,

I've posted about groups before a while back when first trying Oxwall; it's been like that since then. I hope they do consider extending it a bit more. It would be nice to have the ability of transferring ownership and finer-grained permissions based on user roles though + add some moderators or co-owners. Or similar to Facebook's Open, Closed, Secret set up.

Yep, groups badly needs an overhall. Perhaps Oxwall will offer it to another developer, like with links.

Guys, you can make a suggestion on uservoice here: http://oxwall.uservoice.com/forums/13756-ideas-for-oxwall

Also you can hire a programmer to do that for, you can find them here: http://www.oxwall.org/market/specialists

Also you can make a post in the custom code modification section of the forum, probably some community members already work on that and can assist you

Ross - Not being able to change the mod/admin of the group? You really sticking to the party line; that that dos not form problem/bug/lack of obvious coding?

And is a code change that we should hire talent to do?

Really? With a serious face you say this?

Matt
