Bug: the need to double-click in FireFox | Forum

Bug: the need to double-click (not one as in other browsers) on comment textarea in FireFox!

In such fragment (for ex.):

textarea style=overflow: hidden; word-wrap: break-word; resize: none; height: 30px; class=comments_fake_autoclick

In other words: in FF only, any users need to make double clicks to start input commenting...

Please fix this evil bug.

We cannot reproduce that. What is your Firefox version?

I always use last stable ver. of Firefox (34.0.5 at this time)

I give you some details:

- this bug appears on comment input in photo floatbox only.

Just try to pop-up any of photo and then to click in comment line, the cursor will appear after second click only...

Ross, by the way, try this action in last IE, but try to start writing a long comment, with two lines of text minimum, and you will see that second line of comment's text jump over on first line - this is real bug in IE also.

Thanks for the report about the IE comment, we'll pass it to our developers.

As to the double click - this is just a browser behavior.

No Ross, you wrong.

Just try this action in FF on simple photo page, NOT floatbox, and you will see that there is a bug in photo floatbox only.

Please fix it, my users is angry about it...
