Some xml translation files not loaded[bug - to be fixed] | Forum

Hello,

when I upload a language pack, the nav.xml, mobile.xml and ow_custom.xml are not loaded, so I have missing keys (most notably, the home page title). This is probaly caused by the new oxwall 1.7.2 behaviour (only language keys of the installed plugins are added to the database now). nav, mobile and ow_custom are not plugins but the translation files should be loaded anyway.

Can you please provide the lang pack you were trying to upload?

Where did you check that those files have not been imported?

Provide screenshots of the places on your website where you see missing translation.

me too.

I use oxwall 1.7.2 , can't import langage file ( nav , mobile , etc... ) .

When import language file , no error message and not appear item.

I have attached the file.

Same here, the three xml files don't appear when I upload the entire pack. If I only upload one of those 3 xml files (like nav.xml), I dont get an error, but no checkbox. The files were ok in 1.7.1.

M.Hama, I can't reproduce that see screenshot:

I will need access to the admin panel and FTP to check the issue. Please PM either Hama or Steeve.

Mr.ross,

I have used oxwall 1.7.2 on 3 server.

One is localhost of windows 7 on xampp, another is free hosting server(freezoy) , the other is hosting server.

It is all the same symptom.

I checked directry( /ow_pluginfiles/admin/languages/import/language_JP ),all translated file is uploaded.

But,when I install with oxwall admin's panel, those dont appear check box .

I have attached the captured file.

Hama, those sections will appear if there's a completed translation for those sections. If you open nav.xml file, it is still in English which is why you don't see it.

ow_custom.xml is a part of the Base section.

sorry,I atteched by misstake. I atteched other nav.xml that is transfered Japanese.

But,it is the same situation.

xml files was not selected me. I dont know why incerted ow_custom.xml . I only import file that exported with oxwall admin's panel.

When you install my atteched file, appear check box?

Hama, turns out it is a bug, the sections Mobile, Navigation and Custom should appear while importing languages. I have reported it to our developers it will be fixed asap.
