why all the selectbox create in question user changes into checkbox in the search page?

What did you choose as the answer type for those questions?

for example for the country field is not possible to put more than 40 checkbox !! therefore preferably it is a selectbox
there was alot of other questions that possess multiple values, so we should have the choice to put checkbox or selectbox for each question in the seach form.

yes dropdown fields in join page, I want it to remain dropdown in search (not all fields)

We did this as checkboxes on search because users will be able this way to check several options and therefore find more people.

yes I know and you are right about it, but sometimes you have to put in dropdown menu if it contains multiple values (country, city, religion, ...)

To change this is considered as a custom code modification.
You need to go here: ow_system_plugins/base/bol/question_service.php
function is called
public function prepareFieldValueForSearch and do the certain changes.
Or you can hire a programmer who could assist you with that. You can do that here: http://www.oxwall.org/market/specialists
Also you can create a post in the custom code modification section of the forum, probably some community member will assist you in that.
