How do I edit the Frontpage Layout /blocks for users who are not logged in? | Forum

I've done it before, I know its simple, but I cannot remember how I did it.

I want unauthenticated users to just see a custom Text/HTML block instead of the newsfeed.

Go the the widget settings (gear icon in the right upper corner) and click on restrict view, you'll see a user roles for whom the widgets will be displayed.
