What is the difference between Group Wall Widget and Group Post Widget? - Groups | Forum

As a Group member, I am getting notification if one of the group member posted in Group's wall widget.

But if anyone of the group member posted in Group's post widget, I am not getting any notification.

Can anyone elaborate the difference between these two widgets?

Sorry. The 2 widgets in group's page are "The Wall" and "Newsfeed".

Can you explain the work of these 2 widgets separately?

The newsfeed shows group activity, like who joined, who did the post in the group forum etc. it works like all other newsfeed but for the group only.

The wall is just for the comments.

Actually, earlier, we did not have newsfeed in groups, we had only wall, so it is kind of a limited functional of a group newsfeed. So as it is , it is not of any value for the group. You can just remove it.
