I started using a Dutch language pack and started enhancing the content.
Alas the base.xml file contains a lot of content created by the original creator of the language pack stuff like "'base+questions_question_79d2ff83324f8257ebefce50dba2ac10_value_1"
How can I remove all this "crap" and get a clean version of the content?

Jan, yes, you can do that by going here: www.yoursite.com/admin/dev-tools/languages
this way you'll be able to delete those keys you don't need by hovering over it. See screenshot

Unfortunately, there's no such, only via SQL query. But it is hard to do as one cannot know which keys are actually used and which are not.

btw the delete button only shows when hoovering over a string when no search criteria have been entered.
In my case it is 100's of entries in the base where there are no strings but when I select either empty strings or base the hoover doesn't work any more.

Jan, I'm sorry but I can't reproduce that, can you please PM me your admin details and tell which key exactly is not working?

You can't delete any key as soon as you have a filter active...
I also invited you onto our system.

We still have an issue to solve the formal domain name is hetlocje.be but this redirects to http://sbv54.net/locje/
