I am new, Oxwall is the best I've found, I have a site up, but I want to know if I am missing something.
GROUPS seems like it does not do much. I can start a group, people can join, they can post to a newsfeed, and that is about it. After a few posts those early ones fall off and they can no longer be seen or found. It does not seem like a forum can be started specifically for the group or anything else for that matter. So, what exactly good is a group other than people can join but there is nothing really to do in the group except post to a newsfeed that disappears when others post after you?
There must be something I don't understand with groups?
Any direction provided is appreciated.

Steven you can go to the groups plugin settings in the Installed plugins section in the admin panel and connect forum to your group, also you can place a wall widget ( a limited version of a newsfeed)

Also you said that the early posts can no longer be seen or found (dissappear) can you please specify what do you mean by that?

What had been happening was this: If I posted to the newsfeed on the group page, it was only showing 3 current posts, the last item would fall off and it was nowhere to be found and there was no "more" button. I am pretty sure this is what was happening but I cannot duplicate that now so all is okay.

Thank you for the response and direction. Really like what you all have created.

Steven, if you're referring to the videos and photos uploaded in the group newsfeed and they disappear, yes we are aware of this issue. We have reported it to our developers it will be fixed asap.
