Can't increase upload size. | Forum

I've had my upload size set to 1MB, but I've recently started using Amazon S3 for media storage, so I want to increase this limit to 5MB. However, when I try to change the setting, it doesn't work. I still get an error saying the limit is 1MB.

The php.ini settings are 100MB, so that's not the problem (see screen shot below), and I've cleared the site cache. What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Kev

I've fixed it. I checked on the forums and that said the limit was 5MB, and it allowed me to upload a larger image. So on a whim, I checked the photo plugin settings, and that has a second entry to limit photo uploads as well.

This is extremely confusing. Does the photo plugin settings and the user upload settings really require the same entry in both places? It should really be one or the other.

Kev, the maximum file upload size setting in the Rich media section is not working, it is redundant. It will be removed in one the upcoming releases.

The section in the file attachments responsible for the attachments size in the forum section.
