I just installed oxwall 1.3 from softaculous at pacifichost.com but do not know if I have to run the update pack 1.3. Can anybody tell me if I have to download and run update pack 1.3?

After uploading the update pack to your site goto www.yoursite.com/ow_updates and it should tell you it is done.
backup before doing ANY updates.
