Blog uninstall is taking too long time | Forum

Dear team. I had problem with blogs plugin. And tried to uninstall it. But it says "Please wait while all photo content is being removed. This make take awhile depending on the number of photos on your blogs." Already days passed, but it is still in progress. How can i do it quickly?

Din, clear the cache in your browser
Make sure your cron jobs are properly configured
Run the cron manually www.yoursite.com/ow_cron/run.php
then refresh the page, this message should be gone by then.

@ross, thank you. Message gone and i deleted plugin. And then tried ti re-install but now it says invalid plugin key.

Seems like some story of old plugin left in database, like it is still installed and do not allow new one to be installed.

Din, have you removed your Blog plugin from the available plugin section completely first?

Is it a blog plugin? or some other plugin?
Have you tried to upload any other plugin? Does the issue persists with other plugins?
What is your software version?
