Whenever someone registers at my website, they receive a confirmation email. But it's a weird email with the following text: base+welcome_letter_template_html
How do I change that?

Hi,
If I understand correctly, you use not only the English language but another one on your site and you have set it as default language in Admin Area>Settings>Languages>Available languages tab.
In this case you need to check whether these language key values filled :
{text key='base+welcome_letter_template_html'}, {text key='base+welcome_letter_template_text'} .
Go to the Admin Area>Settings>Language section, choose your language, search by "welcome" keyword and edit the keys in the Base section.
