When I go to update my site to 1.7.2 it says it's up to date. But when I'm in the admin area it still says an update is available.

It also says that the 20 core plugins need updates, but they all say that they don't exist when I go to update them.

How do I fix this?

1.7.3 is the current version maybe the cron has not yet caught up with you.  What is your domain please and ill have a team member take a look if they need to.

The temporary URL is http://test.morbidentree.com/oxwall but it seems to have put itself into maintenance mode.

dave, thank you for your assistance.

James, please check your Oxwall software version in the Oxwall site root directory file: ow_version.xml.
And check the version in database. Go to the phpMyadmin->Ox database->ow_base_config table->config name: soft_build.
Enable DEBUG_MODE for your website in ow_includes/config.php and check for the error.

Also I would suggest you try doing a manual update . See the manual here:https://docs.oxwall.org/install:update. And some more details here:  http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/10159?page=1#post-51034

The version in both the xml file and database is 1.7.2 (build 8520)

Okay, I did the manual update and it updated to 1.7.3, but I'm getting 404 errors on every page now...

EDIT: Interestingly, if I go to the index.php file directly it shows the installation, but still gives me a 404.
