Copy members on one DB to another DB, how? | Forum

I have 2 sites, all is same, plugins, settings yes all. I have then all members on site 1 that i want to copy, yes copy not move but copy to site 2. Only members but all information incl pics etc How can I do that?

Christer you can export any required database tables from cPanel using phpMyAdmin. These can be exported and then imported. I am not positive exactly which tables would be needed and there are a lot of database tables in Oxwall. Hopefully a dev can chime in and give you a list of the needed tables for your task.


As far as your user images I think those are located in ow_userfiles/plugins/photo.


If your two sites are nearly identical it might be easier to just make a backup copy of the first site and then install that backup copy at the other site and change the config.php file and then touch up a few items in the admin settings as needed...

i might consider this as a plugin mmmmmm interesting   i maybe have to do this move myself consolidating my two sites so thats why im thinking about it.
