2. what is the purpose of salt?
3. I do not know how to enter the salt?
4. if no salt, all of them succeed?

Hey Adhy, Nice to see you moving on,
1. I do not understand?
2. The SALT is there to allow your Import. I presume its purpose is if you share your Import Zip File, Its there so no one else can use it.
3. ow_includes/config.php. Its the OW_PASSWORD_SALT constant.
4. It will not succeed.
5. It shouldnt take long. Also Note, Some data, Like Pictures, Are not imported. They reside on the Hosts Server and not in Oxwall.

I've tried email and password Wall.fmbut it does not work, when the salt at the beginning of change as I can sign-in. but when replacing the salt, I can not sign-in

FYI I think if your data importer takes forever to load then you may have a cron issue. Check your cron is ok.

I installed automatically with softacolous (Hosting)...

Did you check your cron command via SSH? As Michael have noticed, this really looks like a cron issue first of all.

I never did succeed in doing the import successfully in the end I manual input the users from the wall.fm account. Gave each user a password and sent them a personal message. Took 4 hours to do 200+ had no real problems since other than my client backed up before upgrading to 1.4 using the data export and the site come up with a 500 report, lol So I re did the whole site again and manually added the users again. On my own sites I upgraded with out backup and things where great. (after testing an upgrade of course on my test site, lol). I now keep FTTP copies of all my sites on my computer not trusting the data export nor the data import. Test all upgrades on my test site before implementing them to sites where I do not want complications not wanting to lose users.
