I can't add topics to a forum get this message "You can't view this page due to limited permissions" but I'm the Admin

Same thing happened to me did you fix this and how thank you
when at forums i click on add new forum
i fill all in i hit add then click Finnish customizing all good here so far.click on what i added then go to new topic.this is were i get

Chris the fact that you are admin doesn't mean that permissions set within "Roles" don't apply to you.
Go to your profile, click "Change Role" button. Check which role you as admin have.
Then in admin panel>>privacy&permissions>>roles check whether your role allows posting forum topics.
If the role you are currently subscribed to doesn't allow posting forum topics, create a new role which will allow everything and assign this new role to yourself.
