did you ever resolve this, I am not getting any notifications at all.

If you don't get any notifications, then you should check this:

- cron job was setup properly;

- make sure that sending emails works well from your host;

These are the common issues which could cause "silent notifications" :)

The cron is set up and working as online users do loose their 'online' status.  My server is used by me and my clients to send emails all day every day and the script sends out verification emails for new members so that is not the problem.

In that case it should work well. How did you find that you don't receive notifications? 

Ever since the update to the new platform, no one has been receiving notifications.  It was working before, which makes me think my Chron job is still correct.  Regardless, any and all help would be much appreciated

John, with the new update users receive email notifications only if they have not not loged in to your site for more then 2 days.  If they have loged in, they should have seen real time notifications in top right console.
