And I have one problem with Oxwall in ampps in Windows7 also:

Join page in Oxwall shows a lack of data, something I've never had or have with my network server I rent.

See pictures.
First picture shows from one of my network on another server, properly.
The second picture shows through ampps, shows a lack of fields!

What do I do with the problem? there is something about rights in ampps directory in win7 I need to do something? Need help here.

as to this error: http://www.oxwall.org/...06-22%2017:30:46.png

you need to contact your hosting provider as php cannot find the function which is basic and should be within the php software that is installed on your server

as to this error: http://www.oxwall.org/...13_558684242aa9d.jpg

we are aware of that and our devs are handling the issue, in the meantime install wamp or xamp, there should be no such issue.

then you need to find info on internet how to properly configure you software as your php is missing basic function. we do not provide assistance on server configuration.

1. Well, even if you have a recipe for how to install Oxwall on ampps, then such an explanation pointless, then the matter can not be used because of the bug as you say. PS: How long will it take before this bug is fixed? Is there a roadmap on this issue?

2. Webuzo is one other mysetrium, can neither be used in ubuntu or CentOS, and no one has a good explanation of why in their forum. Well, still waiting att someone to come up with one tip there! But yet it is quiet.

3. Wamp server was easy to install in Windows, but so what! Looked for a possible recipe for how I would be able to use both my domains and installing Oxwall in google search but did not find much constructive means no! Well, it is still installed. Must go out on their forum and hope for the best.

4. XAMP gave useful results in terms of installation, failed sometimes in the control panel. Also here is the lack of documentation on the net on how to add domains and install Oxwall. Was not particularly wiser google search.

5. The last attempt, I thought I had failed, resulting in database disaster and error is this explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3k_q2hRaLU

Now I have sat for hours in almost four weeks, but for the time being there is no server solution in sight here with me. The software has no way each especially compelling for me in this context, no. Register that some have long way to go in this area. For my part, none of the so-called simple solutions each of great help, as they have serious flaws in their software, some solutions have not worked at all, and inadequate and at times messy explanations. Let's hope they manage and overcome all bug, so you can use them to something constructive.

It is of minor importance, as the issue occurs on local installation only

it is reported to our devs and will be fixed in one of the upcoming releases.

As to the webuzo and some other solutions you're referring to, i'm not sure what you're talking about.

"It is of minor importance, as the issue occurs on local installation only"

No, this is not true, but hear more say it. During the test I have had the online several times without any problem, disregarded this bug we are talking about.
Many of my friends have tested whether it worked ok online, and everyone had access to it and use it, if they had gotten past the bug issue. So this with offline do not understand me! So I hope you get this fixed soon.
I think it essential in order to be able to use ampps online is that you have these, which are otherwise free: https://www.dynu.com/
In domain config/add domain:
"Is Domain Addon or Parked?
Check for Addon & Uncheck for Parked" in add domain in http://localhost/ampps

Uncheck for Parked if you have same problem vid AMPPS in Windows.

After that change, all ok here.
Then your webpage or oxwall go online so all can access ut.

I think we speak about different things

You speak about going online with local installation and I'm about the profile questions missing on the join form.

Anyway, as I said the issue with the missing/duplicate fields is of minor importance as it occurs on local installations mostly.

It is this bug I talking about, because it gives the same problem when I went online with Oxwall with ampps, my friends had the same problem when they went there.

Had this problem only every offline, I had not bothered me about it.

But the problem means that I can not use ampps to Oxwall online at all

As I said it is local installation it is not live, online server, transfer your website to some online hosting and you won't have such issue.

AMMPS works great online, without any problem., So why should I pay for expensive server solutions when I can have it for free from my own machine !.

The problem is not online or not with ampps, I have tested, but that Oxwall not working properly in ampps.

I'm sorry I don't understand you now. You said you had this issue: http://www.oxwall.org/...13_558684242aa9d.jpg

Do you? or don't you?

What is not working properly?

Yes, the picture shows the problem I have with Oxwall, both offline and online with ampps, from my personal computer.

has invested some thousands of new machine building, which comes in the mail today. This machine is intended to be used for this project. but it does not exactly bright for instance, when no software can be used so I thought!

Kjetil, I repeat, again, ampps is a local installation
Quote from ross It is of minor importance, as the issue occurs on local installation only
