I can't update plugins or the site itself via the Admin panel.
When I enter the correct FTP information, it still tells me there is a connection error and to enter the correct host.
Whaaaaaaaaaa? :D Heh.
Any help would be much appreciated, it's been this way since I installed.

try to recursive chmod the folders.
ow_plugins and ow_pluginfiles

Hi,
I wasn't going to do that, as I haven't changed any settings on that level (I could update other sites before, you see...) but now I'm concerned this is a permissions issue.
Does anyone know where I can find out how each folder should be CMODed, etc.?
This is really frustrating, to be so close to "going live", except for this and a few features that aren't present...

Connection error means that script coudn't connect to your site via ftp. May you use sftp and simple ftp is disabled on your hosting?

I don't know, I've updated other scripts via their built in update/package/mod system.
Since no one else seems to have have this problem before (?) I guess it's just not meant to be.
