Just spoke to our hosting company and it would appear that Geek.Zone is currently under a DDoD attack! They tell me that they are working on it and that email functions will return once they have been able to fend the blighters off 

One thing I would strongly recomend is using cloudflare - I was able to put Geek.Zone in to "I'm Under Attack" mode which puts an extra layer of security on your site. Sign up now - cloudflare.com
