Is there any way possible to redirect the desktop vid url to the mobile url for people on mobile?

I just noticed that when vids get shared on facebook and some one is using there phone to view it it takes them to a page that asks them to use the desktop version for the vid link.

I feel like im missing out on so many views now because people see this and just give up on my site.

I don't want to disable the mobile version because it is way better formatted then the desktop version for smaller phones. Everything looks good with the mobile version I just need the links to work with it.

JoshWho, as you know the Video plugin doesn't available for mobile version that is why the users cannot open and play videos via the mobile view mode. You will need to create your own Video plugin for mobile view mode.

If you are not familiar with plugin development, it would be better for you to find a developer who can help you. You can do it here: http://www.oxwall.org/market/specialists.

Josh, please could you specify, what kind of links you shared on Facebook. If you used this link /video/view/..., then it will lead users to the page which is not exist in mobile mode. So, that is why users see the redirection message. If you post video on forum, in this case users will be able to open this topic and play video, because this link /forum/topic/... is available in mobile mode.

its just direct links from the rss feed so it grabs all new videos added.

Josh, any link which are not exist in mobile version will not allowed users to play video in mobile mode and will redirect them to the desktop version.
Concerning our future plans about  mobile Video plugin implementation, I don't have any  details or time estimate to share it with you. But we are constantly improve core functionality and have a lot of plans. We  announce our upcoming plans in our blog follow the link: http://blog.oxwall.org/.

Its ok I found a solution. I changed the way the mobile detect works and only made the mobile version visible by my android ap. Mobile browser users will see the actual site now so now all links work mobile or desktop.
