Blank white page is same is blue screen of death on computers. It indicates that something went wrong, but it doesn't tell what exactly happened.
There is always an error behind blank white page, you just don't see it because your host disabled error viewing.
display_errors must set to "On"

error_reporting must set to "E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE"
Ask your host to apply those changes and see whether this reveals any errors instead of blank pages.
