On Ubuntu 14.04 Server (LAMP Stack), I am trying to install Oxwall 1.7.5.
http://myurl/install starts configuration successfully, but it starts complaining with cron setting. In addition, the very last page stays at a white blank page without any confirmation at all. When http://myurl is accessed, I get "The page isn't redirecting properly" error. After looking into this issue, I found that a link was redirecting infinitely.
I am looking into many places but haven't found the answer corresponding to my issue.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Do you have mod_rewrite installed?
Do you have default .htaccess file in the root of the software?

Yes, I have mod_rewrite installed, and I have the default .htaccess file in the root of the software.
Also, I am installing it on my own server which is running Ubuntu 14.04.
Please let me know if there is any sort of log file that I can show.

Which kind of LAMP stack do you have?
A good start can be: XAMPP (also available for Ubuntu), posting an apache2 config file isn't working because each server has its own setup.. also read the documentation base of Apache, it's worth ;)

I'm sorry Tom, but we do not provide assistance on server configuration, you will need to hire a server specialist or find that info on your own on the internet.
Besides, when you install the software do you indicate the port during the installation steps? Also why do you need port in the url? Can't you make it as a default port and try to install the software without the port?
