Where do you upload the image?
We cannot reproduce the issue on 1.8.0 version. Please provide the exact steps how to reproduce.

yes and on one my sites i enabled firebog and for some reason the float box is working fine on it now but not working the other

no had nothing to do with firebug the other site is working now to
so there must be some process cron thing or even the amount open db thing problem

Disable all 3rd party plugins and javascript code you have on your website, clear the browser cache and try again, as we cannot reproduce the issue on our side.
