Hi,

Is it possible to have different kind of members/logins ?

For example for a website about photomodels/photostudio/... ?

So for each kind of member a menu/page.

Best,

Wim

Wim, unfortunately there are not enough details to assist you in a proper way. I can suggest you to use account types. You can find more information about profile questions and account types here:  https://docs.oxwall.org/user-manual:users:profile-questions.
If these instructions don't meet your needs please provide us with screenshots and  more detailed information.

Thanks Taissa for answering my other post :)  I'll post another quick question as it seems to do with the documentation you just posted.
I just read about "account types"
How do I make sure the *account types don't show up on member search page*? I see for profile questions one has control over this. . am I missing something I'm just not seeing?   (We use ours for mailing list types and I'd rather not have that be searchable).

If not through the admin, is this hideable through css? Or core code mod which I'd have to do with each update?

Michele, the drop-down box with account types will be shown on the Search page. If you need to hide it, this is considered as custom code modification. This question has been discussed here: http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/9194.
If you are not familiar with the code modification or plugin development, it would be better for you to find a developer who can help you. You can do it here: http://www.oxwall.org/market/.

Thanks Taissa!! Hmm sorry about that~ usually I'm able to find what I need through the search bars, I guess sometimes the necessary topics just don't show up. But thank you... was hoping it could be done with Css but I will look for a developer!
