When a given plugin has multiple versions available for download, does one have to "step through" installation of each version or can one jump to the last version's ZIP ok?

Just download the latest version and update it manually. Zip will jump automatically your plugin for the latest version

hi , i have copied update file to document root folder wer my main set up files are der , but wen i run updates its telling my version is up to date . but in dash board says updates are available . my f connect icon also not showing properly .. wen i ran updates i never got ant success message also .. can anyone help... if i am goin fa automatic updates wen it is available...?

If you update plugin, then you need to upload unpacked plugin folder nto ow_plugins folder. Then go to Admin Panel, you will receive update request for uploaded plugin.

Did you unpacked it before uploading? :)
- Unpack plugin
- upload unpacked plugin's folder into ow_plugins directory
- if you done all right, new plugin will appear in Available (Not installed) plugin list

thanks a lot .. it worked but i am not able to import the back up on 08-12-2010 which is taken from the wall.fm website on on 4-12-2010 . the error message what i get is "dateimport+not_valid_backup_file".. should i export and import on the same day..?
