As many of you many have noticed there is no way to clear data automatically in the messages tables (also conversation, shared files etc, all tables associated with messages) that is over a determined age (that I know of anyway). I would like to know how to do this. I know I can delete the table content 500 at a time but this is time consuming and I would rather have something that was written in somewhere or a plugin that meant messages older than a certain age (say 3 months) were deleted.
Is this something that others are interested in? Is there someone out there that could make this happen?
