Hi guys how to fix duplicate description issue that I have? I have entered i languages description hoping it was only show on index but it shows on all pages?

theres few solutions
1 start page plugin will let you put meta tags just for landing page
but the plugin is a huge mess and you need spend days on fixing it to be able to use it

I am not sure why {text key='nav+page_default_description'} is not limited to home page only but shows in all pages?

Marcus, the value of this key {text key='nav+page_default_description'} is your site's default meta description. You can change it as you wish and these changes will apply sitewide. This has been discussed here: http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/11128.

@Marcus index page doesn't have its own meta description since it is assumed that all other pages will have their own, thus default meta description will be present on index page only. So you should ask more towards "Why other pages don't have their own meta data".
Text key you are referring to is a default meta description for any page that doesn't have it's custom meta descr.
