Hello,
When I was logged in as admin and updating the theme with the correct LK and the correct ftp info I am getting major errors even though files are set to permission 755, I'm trying to use the 755 recursive on these folders, provided screen shot of errors below.

this is not a theme issue . just no permission to open that file . i think you blocked those files . This issue is happening only with you not others but all users are using same theme file . better check it with other theme .
