younetts social connect plugin allows users to link there social accounts for differant logins to same account
its the only plugin they have that actually works

its only downfall is it puts the social icons in the top of every page so any site link that a user puts into newsfeed or chat come up with the facebook icon from the plugin 
younett wont fix it as they say its oxwall problem

when i posted this problem here 3 years ago i didnt even get a reply to it

The only case when second account is created is when 2 accounts have different email addresses.

What you would like to achieve is quite a nice feature, but  will require custom code modifications.

As site admin you can simply put a notice somewhere on your website explaining the situation with FB connect.

The old fb conect plugin had this feature of linking fb account to existing accout and also to pick feed items like username descripting bdate etc and asign to a profile question but all them features went long time ago
