What can I do to enable "Year" in profile view?

In user profile the "Date" Field (month/day/year) does not display "Year" (month/day). Able to edit Year but, Year is not visible on profile view.

It can be done as a code modification only.
That is not a problem for me to do. Just looking where to start looking for what file to edit. I am very new to Oxwall. But coding is not an issue.

Oops, sorry for misleading. Go to www.yoursite.com/admin/questions/index, hover the mouse to the Birthdate field and click edit. Change answer type from Date to Birthdate. No modifications needed.
