Internal Server Error | Forum

I'm sure this have been asked before but here goes. Everytime I update Oxwall (manual) i get an internal server error. It persists for an uncertain time but during this time me and my users can't reach the site.

Why is this happening and is there some way to make it stop?

I should mention that it's a 500 internal server error.

It seems i solved it and hope this will help others. I added the following line to .htcaccess

"RewriteEngine On" just under "RewriteBase /" and my site loaded just fine.

And I love the new admin area and the new theme in 1.8 =)

Although the lack of mobile support is starting to frustrate my members and I'm going to start looking elsewhere for other softwares. The new theme has a overall good mobile function but still renders larger than the device used so you have to scroll horizontal to see it all.

Mike if it is internal server error  then your server did meet our requirements, seems like your mod_rewrite is not properly configured as it conflicts with the conditions indicated in the .htaccess file

As to the mobile version, one request per topic, please create a separate post with the issue.
