Ilja, as far as we've understood the problem occurred when you try to open avatar from the Newsfeed. The fact is the in the standard Oxwall functionality avatar image does not show up in the Newsfeed. So, this problem is caused by one of the third-party plugin that adds the avatar image to the Newsfeed. You should contact this plugin developer and ask them check into this issue.

It's funny, but that module works well without Password protected photos plugin. So they also says - contact "Password protected photos" developers. :) How to find out?
