I'm installing on a private server, but whenever I have to update the avatar I get this error:

url: http://www.example.com/base/avatar/ajax-responder/

error: {"result": false, "case": 6}

Does anyone know what this error is?

Rodnei, please check whether you have this folder: ow_pluginfiles/base/avatars/tmp

If yes, please set 777 permissions for the ow_pluginfiles folder and make it recursively. See if the issue persists.

Great, thanks for letting us know. So what was it? no tmp folder or permissions problem?

The problem is with folders and permissions. Locally I have the avatars folder, but the folder is empty and it's not added to git. I'm using Capistrano to deploy, the folder was not being added to the current version of the VPS.
