I am currently testing the software, and it is a pleasant surprise to find it a very well written software... and the price, well no one can ever complain.

My question is.... is it possible to change the username and birthday to be viewed while keeping the email invisible?

I would ideally like users to be able to see another members Username and and not their real name. Is there a way to provide and options for the member to choose if they want their real name visible to others?

Birthday should be able to also be selected by the user to either hide or allow others to see it.

Is this possible to set these abilities within the Admin Dashboard?  I have looked within the profile area of both my Admin and the guest user accounts and I cannot find anywhere to make these changes, nor have I been able to locate any place in the Admin dashboard to make the changes for ability to do so.

The user has some privacy settings via the privacy plugin. The admin can set profile fields as either visible, or not by leaving those boxes unchecked. Admin can also set to show real name, or username. There is also a friends plugin that works with the privacy plugin to give a little more privacy, and allowing users to set who can see certain items.

You can set which field to be visible on the profile view page here: www.yoursite.com/admin/users/profile-questions

by editing profile question. See screenshots

To allow users to hide/allow users to see is considered as a custom code modification. Only admins can do that by default.
