I would like my search result URL to change every time i change the search variable 'location'.

Exmaple: right now the search result show this at all times 

www.mysite.com/users/search-result/latest_activity?page=1

And i want it to show this instead

search for users in New York:

www.mysite.com/users/search-result/newyork

search for users in Houston:

www.mysite.com/users/search-result/houston

Could someone out there help me out on how to establish this?
