first of all: Oxwall is a cool peace of software! Thanks for that.
Anyway, I've a problem.
I've tried to post a video in a group via copy and past a youtube url to the group, but it only generate a linked video entry in my videos and thats all. It would be nice if this could work as expected and I can watch the video from the group too.

Tom, where exactly in the group did you post a video link?There is only the newsfeed input box?

Yes, we are aware of this bug, video disappears from the group newsfeed and appears in the video listings only. It has already been reported to our devs, it will be fixed in the nearest future.

Same problem here. Video disapper from the news, after am push F5 and refresh.

Yes, unfortunately the fix has not been introduced in 1.8.1 it will be probably done in one of the upcoming releases.

Has this been fixed yet? I'm running the latest version a/o 8 Aug 2016 and still have the issue.
In addition to the video links disappearing after posting, I'll also mention posting video links in private groups does not respect the group's privacy settings; e.g., a video intended to be private (perhaps XXX-rated) posted in a private members-only adult group shows up in the VIDEO section where everyone can see it.

Hi all, first post here.
First off thanks for the great software.
But I too ran into this bug in version 1.8.4, so evidently not fixed yet.
The behaviour I have observed is:
1. Post youtube URL into the group Newsfeed.
2. It disappears from the group Newsfeed but turns up on the user Profile newsfeed instead.
3. And in the general Videos page too.
I think ideally it should only be in the Group, nowhere else. I hope it is addressed soon.

This is really a big problem !
I tried to correct it, but I couldn't find a solution. I don't really know where to search...
Please plugins devs and other who know oxwall, can you help us ?Is it a problem with the groups plugin, or video plugin, or newsfeed, or an other thing ?
I have another similar problem where post content don't go to the right place (photo on newsfeed don't go in the newsfeed album) and i haven't found a solution either...
