I believe you would need a theme that has the right sidebar. Simplicity doesn't have this feature.

If there is currently no right sidebar, there is no placeholder present, or css to support it. To add the sidebar would require adding the placeholder to the themes general.html file, and providing the css for it. In addition you would need to adjust several other css elements to resize everything to accommodate the sidebar.
