Hi, I am wondering if this particular Invite function uses the same algorithm used in the plugin "Invite Friends By Email" found at http://www.oxwall.org/store/search/plugin?q=Invite%20friends ??

This plug-in was purchase last year for $5, and now it is asking for another license, and is in the inactive area of the plug-in section.

If the Admin Invite under Users uses this plug-in, then, that would explain why invites are not being sent out. I would appreciate any help on this. I have been experiencing this problem for several months now, actually when v1.8.0 came out. So what to do? Help!!!

Ross, you missed my point, read my question again please. My point is, does the Admin area invite under USERS, use the plugin, "If the Admin Invite under Users uses this plug-in, then, that would explain why invites are not being sent out"

It is not using this plugin.

Invitations might fail because Cron is not running. Troubleshooting guide https://docs.oxwall.org/faq:email-sending-is-not-working

Final for this subject/Topic: The Cron Job Command that originally was set, worked, but the company (Arvixe.com), for whatever reason, changed something on the server I was on, so the old would not work. I kept trying other commands, and finally found one that works. So this Subject is not a problem the software created, but the Web Host's problem.
