That is a result of the theme settings. Here is a fix I just found that works on my theme. Copy and paste it into you custom css for the theme in the admin panel.
div#shoutboxTextFormatter.ow_right {
float: right;
display: inline-flex;
}
div#shoutboxTextFormatter.ow_right {
float: right;
display: inline-flex;
}

I have been trying to purchase the plugin since but it seems like the PayPal account linked to it is not working and support is not responding to private email.
