I notice the video uploaded plugin from my purchases link says its suspended. Is it true? Is there an alternative for me to have a plugin that allow my user to upload videos and not just embedded videos from YouTube and etc???

You will need to check the store, i am not aware of one that is compatible with 1.8.3
